We’re currently dealing with an incident on Clarence Street, Swindon. The road will be closed for some time - please avoid the area.

Fire crews will be patrolling the heathlands in Dorset this weekend to ensure that visitors can safely enjoy our open spaces. If you spot them, don’t hesitate to stop by for a chat and learn more about the important prevention work being done! 🚒🌳 @dwfirecontrol @DorsetHeaths

At lunch time today crews from Trowbridge and Melksham released 1 person from a road traffic collision in Edington. The casualty was then taken to hospital by road ambulance whilst 2 other casualties received first aid at scene. Police remained on scene to await vehicle recovery.

9.09am A call to a caravan on fire in a garden in St Georges Road, Dorchester.  Two crews from Dorchester attended and found one large caravan alight, 2 BA and 2 hosereels were used to extinguish. - tinyurl.com/26shhuxh

Fire crews from Redhill were called to a potential car fire this morning, thankfully it was a false alarm and the car had overheated. It was safely moved from the carriageway with the assistance of Police.
