@HMBohemond The ammo itself has already been figured out. It's the mechanism of feeding into a chamber and firing that needs attention. Right now the options I'm tracking is a stack of ammo in a barrel that's touched off by an electric charge, and a very complex mechanism designed in the 70s

Caseless ammo is a perfectly viable concept that needs to be properly developed.

@HMBohemond I'm more of a fan of the beam version vs the blast myself. Makes more sense as an anti-armor weapon that way.

Hot take: People will cite meltaguns being depicted as both a beam and a blast as a "lore inconsistency" when we know for a fact there's many patterns of the same weapon types. Which can easily explain the discrepancy.
