Decompressing some by organizing my retro handhelds. I put them in a Caboodle 🤭 I've got a Gameboy Pocket, a GB Boy Colour (a very nice backlit Gameboy color clone), fat DS, 2 DS Lites, a Gameboy Micro (a modified half-DS that only plays GBA games), and a GBA SP.

@ThePhoenixPress To be fair he lost his powers at that time and was just using whatever he had in the fortress of solitude.

@JeanGen09181213 @ThePhoenixPress Mhm. Back in the day, KH was one of the big pioneers into the genre. But thankfully the team was able to work out a lot of the growing pains for KH2.

Ok, WoT, Eye of the World, seems to dramatically pick up starting with Chapter 5.

@ThePhoenixPress I won't say it's the worst comic book movie. There's plenty worse made before or after its existence. I can say it is the worst Superman film. For one reason alone.

How can someone say this with a straight face when Superman IV exists Batman and Robin? Blankman? So many other terrible comic book films You don't have to like MOS but to call it "the worst comic book film ever" just comes off as performative.
Bobby Mayberry@Exchronos

@BatmanNotes The absolutely worst comic book film is "Man Of Steel". It made my stomach sink walking out of the theater. Superman doesn't kill, he always finds another way.

@ThePhoenixPress Ideally Superman wouldn’t kill because he’s a good person, but some moments force good people to make impossible decisions. Man of Steel displays that. Snyder’s version of Zod was impossible to stop any other way.

This is the same tired argument I see from the "Batman doesn't use guns" When a character is almost 100 years old there can't be a "definitive" version. The version you have is 100% valid But so is mine Neither of us are wrong Any questions?

@ThePhoenixPress Golden Age Batman and Tim Burton's Batman killed bad guys. It doesn't matter because in a few years, Batman will be in the public domain soon and then you can pretty much make whatever kind of Batman you want.

this era of casual elitism in gaming, where people get hated on just for getting good and learning tech, is becoming completely absurd. indistinguishable from a toddler throwing a temper tantrum because his dad didn't let him win at uno

@ThePhoenixPress The less said about James Gunn trying to make Kal-El's parents evil the better. I don't care what Gunn says, that was an edit by Luthor and spoke to Lex's bigotry.

@ThePhoenixPress As we know from The Book of Parker, with great power comes great responsibility, and the Kents always were proud of Clark because he went out and did good things not for himself, not because he owed anyone, but because it was the right thing to do. Superman does because he can.
