@libertas_HH Wer sagt denn sowas?

Europe is heading toward one of the most severe economic crises in its history. The world is facing a serious energy crisis. Europe is in grave danger. The only way out is to lift the sanctions imposed on Russian energy. Immediately. We must think not about Putin, but about our own country and our peoples. Instead of warmongering, love and save your country, Donald!
Donald Tusk@donaldtusk

The threat of NATO’s break-up, easing sanctions on Russia, a massive energy crisis in Europe, halting aid for Ukraine and blocking the loan for Kyiv by Orbán - it all looks like Putin’s dream plan.

You literally have a loving wife and family get the fuck over it you selfish little pussy. Realize how fucking lucky you are, how good you have it, and man the fuck up. So many men nowadays would chop a leg off or blind themselves if it meant they could have what you have. Zero sympathy from me.

QUESTION: "My husband (31M) and I (29F) have been married for almost 6 years. I was cleaning the garage yesterday and found a folded piece of paper tucked behind his toolbox. It was a suicide note. He wrote it 3 months ago. He wrote about feeling like he failed me, like he was useless, like I deserved better. He wrote that he was sorry for not being enough. He signed it with “I love you. I’m sorry.” But… he’s still here. He’s alive. He’s laughing with me, watching shows, talking about the future. And I don’t know if I should bring it up. I’m terrified that if I say something, it will push him closer to it. But I’m even more terrified that if I say nothing, one day I’ll find a letter that isn’t tucked away but left out for me." ANSWER: You tell him everything, you absolutely gush, you break down, you sob, you drag every ounce of everything you have in you to the surface, you mourn his death directly in front of him. You leave no emotion unturned. Very very few suicidal men want to die, but despair has taken hold of them. Sacrificial (Note that word CAREFULLY) despair. Where the only just outcome in their mind is their own end for the "greater good", for some benefit. They value their lives as so expendable, so without value that the best they can do for the ones they love is end it so as to not be an impediment to future happiness, or perhaps go out in such a way that their loved ones financially or socially benefit. Men are obsessive. They fixate. Don't even get mad at me, you know EXACTLY what I mean. And when they begin to fixate on how the most logical course of action in their life is their own end it spirals. Goes from being a fixation to a self fulfilling prophecy. They become a cult of one just psyching themselves into it, never out of it, waiting for the right moment. A dreamy calmness comes over them. That's why he's laughing, planning for the future, having a good old time. He doesn't want your last moments with him to be sad, he doesn't want to tip you off or worry you. Chances are he wrote out the letter but kept it to himself so that when, after he lost his life through some accident that paid out well you'd find it, years later, and know the truth. So the only force against such monstrous despair is Love. Pure Love. Brutal Love. The kind to make the Angels weep. Prostrate yourself and show him that the entirety of your future is at his mercy. To shock him out of that dream like haze of acceptance of his own end. To show him that the cost of his endless loss amounts for more than any pitiful benefit. Good luck. Just remember... if ever there was a time for honesty with your man, this is it. Be direct, be honest, and show him that connection, make him see it. Make him feel it because you can be all but assured he feels like he lost it and he's been grasping for it ever since.

@BlackDumpling Best advice ever! Men in that state truly think their loved ones would (after a while) be way happier without them. The only thing that snaps someone out of it is to see the destruction and pain it would cause to the person they truly love. Directly, without any filters.

This shouldn't be controversial. The Crimson Desert I played was absolutely a 6/10 for all the reasons listed in my review. The developer has since made a whole bunch of changes to the game, so a re-review is probably warranted.
Pirat_Nation 🔴@Pirat_Nation

Travis Northup, the IGN reviewer who gave Crimson Desert a 6 and Marathon a 9, is asking his editor for a re-review. He is busy getting into fights with people on X about his scores. He eventually concedes that Crimson Desert deserves another review and claims to have asked his editor for another crack at it.

@mehdirhasan @triggerpod @KonstantinKisin @francisjfoster Higher border apprehensions seems to be a pretty bad indicator for a more open border. An open border would mean no one is apprehended because no one is securing the border... Honestly, Increase in foreign born populations seems more suitable to investigate this specific claim.

This is beyond disingenuous. I did a good-faith, good-natured debate with @triggerpod's @KonstantinKisin & @francisjfoster, and then they try to fact-check me AFTER by adding in graphs to an interview, which don't even rebut what I said, and now people on the right are trying to act like I was wrong or that I lied about the numbers. Absolute BS. In their clip, as I speak, they show a graph and text on screen claiming "the data contradicts Mehdi's claim, revealing a significant increase in the foreign-born population during Biden's tenure." So? I never said anything about the size of the "foreign-born population." My claim was: "When Biden left office, in 2024, there were fewer people coming in than in Donald Trump's last year in office in the first term. That's just a fact. Go look at the numbers... if there was an open border... why did it come down?" The graph below (click on the WSJ link to see individual monthly numbers) shows exactly what I said. In every one of Joe Biden's last seven months in office, the number of border crossings was lower than in Donald Trump's last month in office in January 2021, the number that Biden inherited. Biden left office with lower numbers than he inherited. That's just a fact. I was right and the @triggerpod folks are wrong. Given they like adding in 'facts' and graphs *after* the interview is over, shouldn't they re-edit this entire interview to also include this graph below? In the interests of fairness and intellectual honesty? wsj.com/livecoverage/t…
