We are saddened by the passing of our great friend Fink Haysom. A perfect mentor to many of us. We were eager to welcome him to Zimbabwe in June. Sincere condolences to his family.

Y'day, we visited our partner @zimsoff in Zvimba, to meet farmers involved in the @seedknowledgei, funded by @SwissDevCoop Farmers are growing traditional crops - sorghum, finger millet & groundnuts, strengthening resilience to climate change & protecting traditional seed.

Cette soirée a été l'occasion de réaffirmer la force des liens entre le Zimbabwe et la communauté francophone, en présence de @Hon_Kuda (Deputy Minister of Youth Empowerment, Development, and Vocational Training). De la conférence de presse aux discours de l'Ambassadeur de France et de la direction de l'Alliance Française, un message fort a été porté : celui d'une coopération active autour de la langue Française et de ses valeurs. Un immense merci à toutes les ambassades partenaires de la Francophonie dont l'engagement fait vivre cet espace de partage unique à Harare. La soirée s'est conclue en beauté avec l'énergie de Nasibo, Raphael Joly et leurs musiciens qui ont fait vibrer l'assistance au rythme de la création franco-zimbabwéenne. 🎶 Celebrating Francophonie in Harare 🌍✨ Looking back at a vibrant reception dedicated to the French language and cultural diversity. The evening was a testament to the strong ties between Zimbabwe and the Francophone community, honored by the presence of @Hon_Kuda (Deputy Minister of Youth Empowerment, Development, and Vocational Training). From the press conference to the speeches by the French Ambassador and the Alliance Française, a clear message emerged: a committed partnership for about the French language and its values. A huge thank you to all the partner Francophone Embassies whose involvement keeps this unique space of exchange alive in Harare.
