We have a new doctor in the house! Congrats to @Portland_State's @stellar_seas on defending her PhD today. Britta studied #microplastics in oysters & razor clams & created an exhibit @orcoastaquarium. Part of her research was funded by @OregonSeaGrant. Britta now works @OurOcean.

👏Congrats to Mee-ya Monnin on her Malouf scholarship from @OregonSeaGrant. She's a grad student @OSUAgSci, studying the feasibility of using photos & videos to monitor the recreational catch of bottom fish off Oregon. She has a bachelor's in F&W from OSU. bit.ly/2I1dlWb
