Okay but notice that the headline calls them "killer whales" and the actual species name, orca, is in the drophead? That's what we call "framing". It puts the readers mind into the space the writer wants it to be. Just something to remember when you see other articles.

Howdy everyone, it's been a little while. What's new? Oh uh, there's some good news and some bad news. Which first? Let's do bad news first so we can end on a high note.

The GOOD news is that my degree is going very well, I'm taking an archaeological field school partnered with the Siksika Nation, and my "roll the dice and follow my dreams come what may" plan is working out!

The bad news is I'm getting a divorce that feels like it came out of absolutely nowhere and my domestic life has been painfully and dramatically flipped upside down.

I'm not on this site very often anymore. I haven't really posted anything in ages. I kind of like being a tumbleweed through this place, though.
