Rust Map Dev Portfolio

Made a custom @playrust map for local play to fight my brother and cousin after work. Expect premium shit-talk, max betrayal, and endless lies. Custom loot is set up, and air drops are the only way to get blueprints. Still tweaking things, but it's pure chaos.

@Frawzt Land based events, new “normal” monuments, monument revamps, procgen improvements… so much room for improvement across the board yet seems to be the most neglected/misunderstood parts of the game

The 90% of players that are afk in their base all day just became 93% With the deep sea, apartment complex and mini games I think the future of rust will be 400 pop servers with 10 people actually roaming the map… Would like to see an update that actually encourages roaming

Apartment Complex would be the coolest monument ever to pvp in. The way they cook on these new POI's is insane, I really hope they take the time to redo all old monuments in the near future. New airfield and launch site would be so fun.

The Nurburgring is the one track where I feel like the fastest driver alive while simultaneously having the most horrendous pace ever seen

@tacularr @reksmore Maps don’t even need to be larger, the generation just needs to be worked on to utilize the space better imo

@reksmore I wonder when the map is going to be much larger to accommodate for all the wasted space half the monuments take. I don't know much about the new apartments but the fact that theres just all that empty space for no reason is odd.

I've seen a couple people mention apt complex would make so much more sense combined with outpost, and I agree. Currently it's a lot of empty space. - Red is just an outer facade - Yellow is just a first floor with nothing in it - Green is the actual rentable apts. I know it's to give new players and potentially solos a way to secure a start. As someone who most of my hours are solo, I can appreciate it. Just feels like It could be so much more for how big it is. Hoping this is just the start of it and it will evolve over time.
