It hurts the people who accumulate HYPE without trying to maximize onchain metrics. "Why buy HYPE on the open market when I can just get the airdrop later? Just max out activity onchain!" So, the losers are the ones who didn’t trade much but still bought HYPE on the open market. I am one of those people. I’m not a good trader, but I want to own more HYPE, so I simply buy it on the open market. I didn’t get the airdrop, yet I’m expected to watch future 'Loracle' dumps land on me because he farmed more onchain volume thanks to the S3 airdrop? It’s not right. If Hyperliquid actually announces a S3 the implications are immesurable Every single person in crypto / tradfi / all types of funds / everyone would be farming s3 Metrics would be insane and so would growth But it would also dilute everyone who uses the platform naturally
