@SarahTaylo89428 Training for magistrates and judges about recognising coercive control, it hasn't always been reported this doesn't mean it didn't happen. Victims should not be told to go away and get on better/cooperate/ coparent with their abuser.

@RevRichardColes Pressure cooker is the answer.... But yes always longer than the Internet suggests.... To avoid repurcussions....

@Amanda_Wash10 @MyCafcass I'm afraid I also complained, they didn't listen and simply responded defensively. The issues were not addressed I could not fight anymore. They just covered up
English

I’ve received an absolute joke of a response to my complaint to @MyCafcass
They have failed to confirm which of my three complaints they are investigating, what they are actually investigating and stated the next time I hear from them will be via a written outcome letter.
If they can’t even tell me what they are investigating or share the process and details as they investigate why would I have any belief that there won’t be more bias and a cover up?!
Shame on you for the pathetic handling of 3 serious complaints. Families, and victims, deserve so much better!

The 'but he was a lovely man' discourse in many news stories only shows how little people understand about risks to women and assessing them.
If this level of harm were happening to men, discourse would be different. It's not rare and it's not an entry level crime
Dr. Ann Olivarius@AnnOlivarius
No, men killing women in targeted attacks is not "very rare". It happens twice every week in the UK. @CountDeadWomen #coercivecontrol

@SarahTaylo89428 @SheraFamily I'm a researcher at Cardiff University..... Doing research about coercive control. I have written to the candidates in my area about my concerns about what I'm hearing from women/professionals and the systemic issues .... No replies
English

@SheraFamily So,there wasn't enough time to respond HOWEVER The first minister Vaughan Gething was kind enough to speak to me straight after the programme, and acknowledge the issue & offered to introduce me to Senedd Members who would be very interested in this,to speak with them and himself
