MSc thesis successfully completed by Gaël Kobessen: Potential impact of #sand_mining on water resources. 💡 If you take the sand, you take the alluvial aquifer, you reduce recharge to deep geology. A combination of MODFLOW + hydrogeological & participatory fieldwork in Botswana.

Wat een duik in het doorlopend hydrologisch neerslagtekort sinds 22 juli 👇 2023 is tot nog toe het jaar van de bokkensprongen in het weer (afwisselend zeer droge en natte periodes). Gemiddeld is de hydrologische balans sinds april terug in evenwicht ("normale" toestand)
