It’s no mystery that the perceived, but not necessarily factual answer is Steph Curry. Germany comes close though. Just look at this Volkswagen commercial to witness how German-headquartered companies market their national pride/products; many in the rest of the world usually agree. Here at Couch Potato Travel, we champion the art of traveling smart and joyful, and no country exemplifies this better than Germany. A realm rich in beauty and influence, Germany holds a central place in modern philosophy and engineering brilliance worldwide. Today, we embark on a journey through the one region that can lay claim to the most iconic product the nation produces. Well, at least when your BMW and its engine aren’t constantly in the shop. But then again, whoever said efficiency always translates to effectiveness, as nothing is perfect. Our stop is the charming region of Rhineland-Palatinate, located on the country’s western frontier. Here, we traverse verdant farmlands and shine a spotlight on this hitherto undiscovered piece of the traveler’s puzzle. We trust our German friends will appreciate the efficiency we’ve strived to capture in this piece.

Ukraine was invaded is a correct statement, Iran has been invading and waging war on its neighbours and internally directly or through its proxies for close to 50 years. The war in Iran wasn't a choice, just as giving up Donbas and Donetsk to stop Russia from invading wasn't a choice. Both involve securing the existence of a democratic nation

@EU_Propaganda That's not a satisfactory response at all. Sorry but the EU isn't moving anywhere on this issue, but that's fine. I don't expect the EU to be perfect, or full of excuses when it fails miserably

@SyndesiIntl Because the EU (in its current form) didn't exist 50 years ago and the UN has a peace keeping force there since the 60s. Obviously, a diplomatic reunification is preferred and we are slowly moving in the right direction.

@Paul_On_Fire @NXT4EU That's because in the USA the police do their jobs and catch the criminals so those numbers are higher.

@TimelessTrvlr Roanoke is beautiful, spent lots of time there. But most of Roanoke is sprawl, and I can bring my car to its downtown and park it. That's what makes American small towns superior, because they have the best of both worlds

Roanoke, Virginia is what happens when a city chooses mountains over ego, short commutes over sprawl, and a slower, steadier kind of progress.

@Ole1517038 @ulrichspeck I do business with the EU (I live there). I really don't trust the EU, it's many useless regulations, it's unwillingness to stand behind every member but I deal with it. I like the EU even if my trust level is low

@ItIsINotLeclerc To be fair it wasn't just Iran's. The fact that they wanted control over their neighbours caused alot of the issues being fought for

Iran. And for free. To be fair, keeping the strait open, given that it's a natural sea, doesn't really require doing anything, so that's why it was free when Iran did it.
Syndesi@SyndesiIntl

@grok which country over the last couple of decades or so kept the strait of Hormuz open for Europeans at their own cost and their own soldiers lives, with Iran always the central adversary? Why do Europeans (which I am one) think they can continue to get a free ride from the USA?

That's what managers do, if he didn't force Europe, Europe would have never stepped up. You don't help people by giving them money directly all the time, in fact that builds a cycle of dependance that isn't good. Trump wanted as he stated for the EU to be independent of the United States which helps everyone

@SyndesiIntl @TallbarFIN Him getting Europe to spend more is not him helping Ukraine. It's him not helping Ukraine. Yes thats the only one thing he did do - push India to buy less, which now he reversed. LOL no - asking Ukraine to give away land is not a concession - it's straight up helping russia.

Korea was a stalemate, The USA reached its initial goal of destroying Al-Qaeda, punishing the Taliban and making sure they would never attack the USA again. So that was a win. The nation building part which came after was a strategic loss, but destructive air power wasn't used in the nation building part as the primary weapon

And after voting that out too... 🇪🇺 ChatControl is back with a vengeance The Conservatives (EPP) are attempting to force a new vote TODAY (March 26) seeking to reverse the European Parliament's NO on indiscriminate scanning of ALL your private messages, emails and photos This is a direct attack on democracy and blatant disregard for your right to privacy If you're European contact your representatives now, with this handy form: #contact-tool" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">fightchatcontrol.eu/?foo=bar#conta… If not, please share this tweet so more people see it and we can block the vote It's crazy they keep just bringing back whatever they want until it's passed! Obviously now we see the European Commission is controlled by powerful evil lobbying groups 👺

Just a month later and... 🇪🇺 ChatControl is back! Now they're trying to pass an even more far reaching ChatControl law through the back door, in a form even more intrusive than the originally rejected plan, without needing any of the EU countries votes The new proposal: - total mandatory surveillance of ALL text chats, emails and social media in the EU - obligatory registration of your ID/passport to your chat, email or social media account - minimum age requirement for chat, email and social media apps of 16 (!) The only way to stop this law is if EU countries veto it Read more here by @echo_pbreyer: patrick-breyer.de/en/chat-contro…

@markku60906522 @TallbarFIN you're right, but to me these are semantics. Nato isn't defending Ukraine either, individual countries are. Like him or not the Ukraine needs his support. Sometimes you need to let your ego down, even if it means helping an ego maniac like Trump a little.

Zelensky has said he couldn't win the war without US help during Trumps reign, he got Europe to spend more to help, is the first to start negotiations (no one is ever happy with concessions), has implemented tough Russian sanctions and has punished countries that trade with Russia, both the EU and the USA temporarily lifted sanctions for energy concerns. He just isn't spending any more American money which is fine, because living in the EU, I want the EU to be able to defend itself independantly

The Michael Jordan GOAT debate to end all debates! Picture a city that has given the world its equivalent of Michael Jordan in the dynamic field that explains our universe. That city is Cambridge, England. This is where Sir Isaac Newton made his mark, a man who is as synonymous with physics, engineering, and mathematics as Jordan is with basketball, i.e. the GOAT (Greatest of all time). In the next paragraph, we will compare Isaac Newton to Michael Jordan to see why Newton is a better hands down GOAT in his field than Jordan is in his. Consider the fact that 12 basic laws dictate the foundation of physics. These laws represent undeniable truths, as opposed to theories known for being the closest approximation to the truth, as such they can be disputed and always have exceptions. Newton has sole credit for 4 of the 12 laws (3 of motion, and universal gravitation) that describe our universe. He also heavily influenced the 4 laws of thermodynamics created after his death, giving him 4 assists to go along with his 4 baskets out of 12 possible points. Even Michael Jordan can’t compete with that level of efficiency on his best days, let alone his career, in the field he dominated. Just like the Chicago Bulls have Jordan, Cambridge, England can claim Sir Isaac Newton. Unlike Jordan, who couldn’t build on his success as a player, when he became an owner, Newton could build on his success in Physics and Math (he also co-invented calculus) to take the next step and excel as an Engineer, taking the theoretical knowledge he developed and making it practical. Hence he is also the father of Engineering. If that’s not the GOAT then what is? Not bad for a 17th-century figure unsurpassed even today.
