Crazy how you want to roleplay as a widow and act like you know better on how someone would act in that scenario. Anyone who’s experienced loss knows that there is no one-size fits all way to act or respond. FIFA did not do the same thing with Ronaldo. Stop spreading lies. Ronaldo situation was different. Learn the situation before speaking. Ronaldo got a red card which is an automatic 1 match ban. Ronaldo red card was reviewed and he was given an additional 2 game ban for a total of 3 games. He served one and the corrupt FIFA suspended the other 2 for the World Cup because they needed Ronaldo presence to not lose money. Even so that red card happened last year. Balogun red card happened a week ago in the tournament and is because suspended for the next game. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN IN FOOTBALL. It’s corruption

This has nothing to do with wanting an easier opponent. It’s about FIFA inventing procedures on the fly after outside pressure. Whether the red card was right is a separate discussion. Anyone with even a basic interest in football governance should be able to see the difference.

Specifically they challenged the use of slow motion instant replay to give the red card, which they argued violated FIFA rules. The president also conveyed to Gianni Infantino, FIFA’s president, that the appeal had been filed and he believed the red card penalty was excessive. FIFA’s independent committee reviewed the decision and agreed the penalty was incorrectly given, rescinding it under their rule 27 authority.
