Can you be genetically Assyrian but not practicing your culture or being continuous with it, does that still make you an Assyrian? For example, Muslims living in the Assyrian city of Ashur or modern day Shirqat are genetically Assyrian. But, not culturally or religiously.

During the drafting of the Iraqi constitution after Saddam fell, a certain group hostile to our interests INSISTED on the tri-name.
