i ran furmark again just to see how both hwmonitor and hwinfo are doing. here are my findings:
gigabyte rtx5060ti 16g windforce
power limit 206w (maxed out)
ambient temp 30c
max hot spot temp
- hwmonitor ~98c
- hwinfo 92c
max gpu temp
- hwmonitor 76c
- hwinfo 76c
max delta between gpu temp and hot spot temp
- hwmonitor ~22c
- hwinfo 16c
behaviour of the hot spot temp
- hwmonitor = bouncing between 91c and 98c
- hwinfo = a steady temp
i would say both software are still in development regarding the nvidia rtx50 hot spot temp readings. let them cook, and please dont panic.
@yzonker@unikoshardware warmed up a little bit but does seem to be true depending on what hotspot sensor you look at. was swinging around like crazy. much more than hwinfo's reading.
