Why is it that every time I go to another country, it’s always the cabbies and the taxi’s that I have to look out for. Over here the police will intervene and it’s easy to research if the cab is legit or not. Over there it’s a guy in a car or in a moped that may or may not speak English. It’s hard to tell who is legit and who isn’t. At least when I got ripped off it wasn’t that bad, I was never in danger. But my experience was nothing compared to the people who were stuck on the side of the road because they refused to pay the extra fee the cabbie was demanding. I think if I can make it happen, next time I go I’ll just try to rent a car if I can, if not, a moped would suffice.
