At our conference on 1 Nov 2025, we'll be showcasing 'Tayside Treasures', objects curated by Tayside Museums Forum. A Cornucopia of Objects from across Tayside’s Museums is presented by Lara Haggerty, Dorothy Jones, Angus MacIntyre, Jamie Kunka, Christina Donald, Mark Hall.

The 'Super Sewer' works run through one of the most significant urban centres in Scotland, with the first major urban excavations of Perth High Street in the 1970s and proximity of Perth Waterworks, Tay Street, the early medieval harbour and Cromwell’s Citadel on the South Inch.

Suzanne Swan (AOC Archaeology) will be speaking at TAFAC’s conference on 1 Nov in Glenrothes. The ‘Super Sewer’, a major Scottish Water project in Perth, from Tay Street to Shore Road along the River Tay enabled investigation of the area’s archaeological record.
