Our @PANationalGuard Soldiers and Airmen live and work in the communities they serve. It's always great to cross paths with our members in their civilian roles. Legislative Assistant Dustin Zerbe works for @SenatorPicozzi, representing Pennsylvania's 5th District. He's also a Soldier serving in the 2-112th Infantry Battalion, part of the 56th Brigade, 28th Infantry Division. 1LT Zerbe, thank you for choosing a life of service to the Commonwealth and our country. And thank you, Senator, for your support as a Guard employer.

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with American Legion National Commander Dan K. Wiley. It was a great opportunity to discuss our shared commitment to supporting veterans, service members, and their families, while continuing to advance the organization’s important mission. 🇺🇸 For more than a century, The @AmericanLegion has advocated for veterans and active-duty personnel, mentored youth, and strengthened communities across the United States. I appreciate the meaningful conversation and the Legion’s continued dedication to those who have served.

It takes a special kind of leader to serve as an Equal Opportunity Leader. They are selected on their character, judgment, and commitment to the Soldiers they lead. Happy to kick off this week's Equal Opportunity Leadership Course. The role is critical in ensuring our culture remains a professional, respectful environment where every member of the team can succeed.

With a heavy heart we close a chapter on one of our most storied units – casing the colors of 103rd BEB, which traces its roots back to the beginning of our @PANationalGuard in 1747. But today also marks a new beginning for these companies as they transform with the 56th MBCT. #dandyfirst #OneTeamOneMission

Tonight, following the Proclamation of Disaster Emergency signed by @GovernorShapiro, your @PANationalGuard has about 150 Soldiers and Airmen mobilized in critical areas of Philadelphia and Northeastern PA. We are positioned and ready to work side by side with state and local officials as Winter Storm Hernando moves through the Commonwealth. Please be cautious, avoid unnecessary travel and heed the advice of your local first responders. As always, thank you to our Guard members and their families who step up when needed to support our Commonwealth and communities.

On behalf of the Pennsylvania National Guard, I extend my warmest wishes to our friends and partners in Lithuania as you celebrate Restoration of the State Day. Our relationship is about far more than military cooperation. It is about shared values, mutual respect, and the deep bonds formed between Soldiers, Airmen, and families who have trained, learned, and grown together. May this celebration be filled with pride, reflection, and hope for the future. We look forward to many more years of standing together as partners and friends.
