Unable to chip in Mackay opened the door for Ochitwa who converts his 4 foot par putt to become the 2025 King of Trucks Men's Lobstick Champion.

Ochitwas chip comes up short leaving the door open for Mackay. Mackay leaves his birdie putt just short and is conceed par. Ochitwa cannot convert his up and down and we are all square thru 14.

Mackay with a great putt that tracked all the way but ended up on the front lip was conceeded his par. Ochitwa with a chance to regain a 2 up lead fails to convert and we are thru 12 with Ochitwa leading 1 up.

Ochitwa with some silky mitts hits his chip to a conceed par. Mackay lips out his par and Ochitwa takes a 2 up lead thru 10.

Mackay is unable to convert his up and down and Ochitwas par is conceeded and is 1 up thru 9.

Unable to find his first ball Mackay reaches the long Par 5 8th in 5 strokes. Ochitwa finds the green in regulation and 2 putts to win the hole. We are all square thru 8.

First in usually wins. Mackay drains his par putt but is quickly followed up Ochitwa making his. These guys have unreal short games. Ochitwa up 1 thru 4

Both players with great putts but cannot find the bottom of the cup. Pars are conceeded and we are off to 3 with Ocitwa holding a 1 up lead.

@JFreshHockey Makar is an extra forward. Him and Toews should not be paired together imo. They are going to get exposed in 4nations cup.

Josh Manson can make it work. Sam Girard can make it work. Sam Malinski can make it work. So what it is exactly in how Makar is playing that is just not working when he's out there with the Avs bottom six?

Genuinely I think it would be interesting for a smart hockey person to go through tape and figure out what it is that makes it so that for the past two seasons the Avs, when MacKinnon is on the bench, are better with Makar also on the bench than out on the ice.

@Jcon62686 The puck was supposed to go deep on the dump n change. Lead to a quick turnaround. Everyone is out of position if you don't get the puck deep

@returnofaj @nordiquefan73 Seems lots of fans don't like Josh. Eats big minutes against other team's top 6 plus penalty kill. Plays physical and can drop the mitts when needed. Also has to eat minuses from lazy forwards.

The Avs don't really have the money for him but Chris Kreider would be a really good fit for their needs.
