@ESPNFC When Iran wants to kill all Jews and wipe out the west. What sane country would openly let the terrorist in?

@JarickL @SKORNorth @jzulgad A first from a competitive team and Hartman are not major assets. Buium Rossi and Ohgren and a 1st are 4 major assets...

@TBuller23 @SKORNorth @jzulgad It’s one less major asset than Hughes who is significantly younger and better. If Detroit thinks they are trading Larkin for four major assets they are nuts.

@SKORNorth @jzulgad Tremendous deal. I thought he’d get 4-5m aav. This makes Hartman expendable in a trade, hopefully packaged with Yurov and a 1st for Larkin. Keep Stramel for long term C prospect.

@aaron_b_johnson @thorku Idk, why did Zim hate Kirkco? My guess is they wanted more than what they had to offer. I could be dead ass wrong but I think JJMac has more of a ceiling than kirk does from being more mobile.

Lidl-Trek has been throwing money at the wall hoping it sticks ever since Lidl became a co-sponsor, and has now replaced their team manager and multiple high-level management roles. Internally, multiple riders are looking for the exit. Visma-Lease a Bike has replaced staff members who left with limited culture changes, and continued performance.

I genuinely think there's no behind-the-scenes drama surrounding the Grischa Niermann departure at Visma-Lease a Bike. Sometimes people just move on to the next step in their lives, and it sounds like that's what's happening here. I worked with him in preparation of the Tour de France 2022, and Grischa was a pleasure to strategise with. He's someone who always valued honest input and isn't afraid to stand behind people who give it. I appreciate that on a personal level. I'm quite skeptical when I see a team, in this case Lidl-Trek, massively shake-up their management like this, but I'm certain Grischa won't be the reason if it goes wrong. 🤷‍♂️

@LucGrefte @BenjiNaesen Fair. He helped move a low budget team into a top tier funded team. I hated letting Bob J walk in 2015, it panned out but he was the only young talent on that team. Consistently tried signing old riders for GC. Hated cutting Tiberi and a lot more.

@TBuller23 @BenjiNaesen I agree that that wasn’t their best part, some riders should have been race coached better. But as a person Luca was never in any drama, had good relations with his riders and sponsors and was clearly competent as manager

Grisha going from Visma to Lidl-Trek makes sense on its own. He was probably due a change, Lidl-Trek is basically German now and have the money Luca being pushed out as team principal after successfully running the team for many years is the part that feels very concerning

@wielervrspllng For being one of the strongest classic riders and leadout men. Has he ever won a reduced bunch sprint? The 2017 sprint against Diller still haunts me.
