My advice to Vance: Announce your support of 25th amendment transition. Say Chris Murphy or similar will be veep. Announce you will NOT be a candidate in 2028. Use your position, access to the media to explain why this is necessary. Don't resign.

Haven’t seen you comment at all on the constant civilian targeting by Iran, which they have also funded other groups to do for decades as well. Do you only care about what Israel is alleged to have done? Also, why is an investigative journalist like you not even researching or applying critical thought to these allegations? Seem to have a pretty clear bias on what you’re commenting on and reporting.

But to answer your question, even though your dodging the discussion here, yes I think the oppression of white men in contemporary America is worse than what black slaves went through in America. I would argue that the fact black slaves had a lower suicide rate than white men today largely speaks to this. Clearly the institutional pressure against Whites is more destructive on them than slavery was for blacks.

🧵 THREAD: Democrats TEACH voter identification and election integrity ... just not in America The Democratic Party has an international arm called the National Democratic Institute (NDI). It's funded by $181M/year in US tax dollars. Its board includes Stacey Abrams, Donna Brazile, and Tom Daschle. But in regards to today's SAVE America Act debate... did you know that the NDI has taught and supervised election processes all over the world? For 40 years, NDI has told every developing country on earth that voter ID is essential for election integrity. They've recommended biometric systems... yes, that's right, NDI recommended biometric systems, which goes way beyond SAVE America Act! They praised fingerprint verification. Tracked ID card issuance rates. Meanwhile, Democrats call the SAVE Act "Jim Crow 2.0." Same party. Same people. Opposite positions. As always, patience as I pull together the thread 👇

Here’s the video. Comment referenced starts at 6:13. NY governor Kathy Hochul: “Now, there are some patriotic millionaires who stepped up. Okay, cut me the checks. If you want to be supportive, but maybe the first step should be to go down to Palm Beach and see who we can bring back home because our tax base has been eroded. So I philosophically don't have a problem, I have to look at the fact that we are in competition with other states who have less of a tax burden on their corporations and their individuals. And I would say remote work changed everything. There were people who could only work in an office in Manhattan or work in New York State and they were captives to our state. They were going to stay. We saw that that's not the case. Wall Street, businesses looking at Texas? They're not going there because they have a nicer governor, I know that for sure, but they're going there because of the tax rate. We have to be smart about this. ,” she said. youtube.com/watch?v=k3eDs-…

New York is about to make a massive mistake. The NY State Senate is advancing a proposal to decouple from federal QSBS (Section 1202) — the tax provision that lets startup founders exclude gains on qualifying exits. If this passes, founders would owe 10-13% in combined state and city tax on exits that are tax-free at the federal level and in nearly every other major tech state. Even worse: it's retroactive to January 1, 2025. This comes right as the federal government just expanded QSBS benefits and New Jersey moved to full conformity. New York wants to go in the opposite direction. As a seed investor in NYC who has backed hundreds of companies, I can tell you: founders are mobile. If New York becomes one of the most punitive states for startup exits, the best founders will simply build somewhere else — and the jobs, tax revenue, and innovation will follow. NYC has built something special over the last two decades. This proposal puts it all at risk for a short-sighted revenue grab. If you're a founder, investor, or anyone who cares about the NYC tech ecosystem — please sign the TechNYC open letter before Monday below 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 Keep building, NYC 🗽

NY is already begging wealthy to move back and has a massive budget hole they cannot fill. Companies have started relocating taking taxes and jobs with them. Rating agencies are downgrading debt and bond investors are selling pushing up yields. It’s fine, you’re the type that will have to experience it to learn. You’ll still just blame the wealthy so doubt you’ll learn much. Leftists don’t learn from their mistakes, doesn’t matter how many cities and states they ruin, they don’t adjust policy beliefs.

You’re literally missing the point and logic to point of there being only 2 options: 1) you’re so politically biased that your mind refuses to see what’s happening and what this will cause, or 2) you’re not very bright. My assumption is it’s number 1 but neither are good options. You need to talk to some business actual owners tha employee lots of people about these policies.

@nihalmehta @EniacVC @TechNYC if you sell your company for $200k you're a pauper and shouldn't be doing business and NYC is doing you a kindness with a mercy kill. it's euthanasia for unviable fetuses in the startup world.

@OwenGregorian There is also no point in doing this. There are much more effective and efficiently ways to transfer wealth and faster. Additionally, the IRS would likely disregard this as a step transaction and invalidate it anyways. Happy to explain any of this if helpful.

What’s the point of doing it this way? There are much more effective strategies to pass wealth more quickly and efficiently. This strategy would also likely be invalidated by the IRS as a step transaction, seeing through it. Rent has to be market value, cannot be ultra inflated like that.

The American dream for first time homer buyers. Buy a duplex. 5% down to buy it, live in one unit, collect $10,000/mo from your Boomer millionaire parents who rent the other unit. The mortgage payment is only $2,500/mo so you get paid ~$7,500/mo to live there. Put $7,500/mo into index funds while living there 7-10 years. Poof. You're the millionaire instead of your Boomer parents. Why aren’t more young people doing this?

@SporkWitch @libsoftiktok These measures performative at best. Leftists want to feel good that they’re doing their part and virtual signal to others. Meanwhile most of measures are actually harming most citizens. But they never learn and just lean harder to the leftist measures when they don’t work.

WTF. Thurston County, WA, becomes first in the nation to pass an ordinance FORCING people to obtain a certain "home energy score" before they're allowed to sell their house. The goal? Reduce carbon emissions... These climate change cultists want to control your lives.

@SporkWitch @libsoftiktok No it wouldn’t work. The US could reduce its carbon footprint to zero and it wouldn’t change anything climate wise. That’s literally the math by the way using climate change scientist’s own data. Much less what one or every batshit crazy state does.

@libsoftiktok Oddly I'm almost okay with this. Unlike the other performative nonsense this would actually work and also affect those calling for it, since it kicks in on sale, rather than being avoidable by sale.

@NFL_Convo Agree with Seahawks and Broncos, but AFC East basically give Pats 4 guaranteed wins. If Pats adds a true WR like AJB for Maye, can’t imagine they miss the playoff
