On 2/28, 4 teams of TCTA Comp Sci students participated in Lockheed Martin's CodeQuest Competition with teams from all over the Southeast. This was such an incredible learning experience. Can't wait to learn even more and compete again next year. @tcsboardofed @TCTATuscaloosa

On 2/25, TCTA Comp Sci hosted a CTE Month Game Day Celebration. The courtyard was covered in games like cornhole, spike ball, & more! Students got to enioy the first day of warm weather & food from some of our awesome local food trucks. @TCSBoardofEd @TCTATuscaloosa @MikeDaria

Celebrating AMAZING students! Gildarly Escobar earned his QuantHub Applied Data Skills CRI as a 9th grader this semester. He has now moved on to completing an entire Data Analytics course through self study.

With 11 teams, each with students representing all 3 programs, we are so excited for this collaboration with the AMP Center at UA! Thank you, Dr. Renu Dalal for organizing this competition and being our first guest speaker.

On 2/6, TCTA's Computer Science, Engineering, and Modern Manufacturing programs kicked off a 9-week long EV Hackathon Competition. Students will work to research and design a solution to the lack of EV infrastructure in their chosen community.

Shoutout to our outstanding student: Cameron Fleming! He is now the 2nd ever TCTA student to earn his QuantHub Applied Data Skills CRI. To do this, he completed 6x more work than was required in class on the QuantHub platform. Look out. This kid is going places! #FutureInTech
