But works do nothing for us, our righteousness is as filthy rags, any good works we do are a result of salvation not a means to earn it, since it can't be earned. We do good works out of a grateful heart, not obligation, since nothing we do can ever be enough to repay our debt. Jesus sacrificed Himself once for all, to pay the debt of our sin, trusting in Him is the only way to be saved, this is not a license to sin, since how can we, who are dead to sin, still live in it? Does it sound too simple? Maybe to some, but it really is that simple, that doesn't mean being a Christian is easy, but we trust in Him, that His sacrifice is sufficient to save us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This is so important to understand, no work, no good deed, no act of self abasement will absolve us or raise our standing in the kingdom of God, only Christ's blood can make us clean.

@needGod_net I don’t know, it just seems to me that you talk and live a watered down Christianity that requires no thought or walk.

I got so many "kys" messages last time I expressed this, but idc. YES it is weird for a man voice to be coming out of a female model. It reads 100% as clickbait and simpbait. If you aren't engaging enough as a man and use a female shell for views it's weird and creepy.

@StardustBunney I don't really watch vtubers (or streamers in general), but I'd have to agree, it's not like picking a female character in a game, the vtuber's avatar is meant to represent them in a way that's more personal than that IMO.

I recently played the demo for Alabaster Dawn and there's definitely a solid action RPG here. it's currently in early access so the full story isn't available yet, I'm still trying to decide if I want to dive in to early access or wait, but I did have a lot of fun with the demo. (Screenshots are not mine)

@TheNintendoGoof @GamingRct The steam machine could be a good compromise, hopefully it doesn't end up being too expensive. If you're considering a handheld it will probably be comparable in power to any of those.

@GamingRct i hate pcs tho lol been thinking about it, but as someone who works with computers for a living the thought of using a PC for gaming again is not appealing, also I hate windows.

If this was "prepared" for me on my birthday, I wouldn't want to have any more birthdays.

I lean heavily towards the shroud not being Jesus, in the bible it describes His burial cloths (plural) as multiple pieces, His head wrapped separately. It also wasn't "discovered" until the 1350s, that's over 1000 years post crucifixion, scrolls containing scripture have been found dating to within a century of the crucifixion, so the dating doesn't make a strong case either. Personally, I don't need relics to tell me God is real, the heavens declare His glory and the stars proclaim His handiwork.
