Mikel Arteta made some of the biggest calls he’s ever made today and he’s doing stuff I’d never expect.
That decision to play Rice at right-back was wrong and he realised his mistake and switched it shortly after by bringing in Mosquera.
He then substituted the substitute in Zubimendi because he was nowhere near the required level.
Bringing in Odegaard who changed the match.
Even Madueke for Saka was positive.
Unbelievable management.

@FootballEra_ Zubi has been the same player all year: slow, late to tackles (the only time he’s aggressive), unable/unwilling to ask for ball in tight areas, can’t turn quickly and play upfield, can’t dribble, won’t play progressive balls or thru balls. Very good at going sideways/back.

I’m genuinely serious, Arsenal need to cut their losses on Zubimendi this summer. He doesn’t complement Rice as a partner due to his limitations on the ball, he’s also isn’t physical enough to be a Rice alternative.
Sell and upgrade ASAP.

No pace, can’t tackle, can’t dribble, won’t play advancing progressive balls, just a sideways ball player who also is afraid to ask for the ball in tight areas. Literally anyone decent can do the job he does
