Creating a parallel, for-profit system will siphon away HCWs to investor-backed private enterprises. Their primary goal is to provide shareholders & limited partners with a return on their investment . This is not a good deal for taxpayers & will worsen the staffing crisis.

It’s a simple concept. When kids don’t show up to school, they learn less. Schools are often blamed for student absenteeism with comments such as ‘lack of engagement’ & ‘negative school experiences’. We all know ‘home life’ & ‘student health’ are the BIG factors and yet ignored.
