I’m now about to publish books 5-8 by the end of summer. What has helped me has been having other books or projects to work on when I’m stuck. The break from writing the same thing works as a reset, and I’m able to come back not having the barrier, or I have a fresh perspective.

It's been almost a year since I started writing my first novel. 85 pages in, and I am still in the first half of the manuscript. Writer's block is real. Sometimes it takes weeks or even months to get back on track. Do all writers go through this phase too?

Picked up this commission piece at Motor City Comic Con by the amazing Dave Brown. I liked mixing it up with Ghost Maker rather than Batman. If you get a chance to check out Dave’s stuff at an upcoming show, definitely do so. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks, sir.

Long time, no post. With the Indiana Comic Con not that far away, these will probably not be done in time. I’m planning on all of them ready for the fall shows, starting with Printers Row in Chicago this September. Stay tuned for more info.

@elonmusk Agenda driven groups require fear to acquire funding and exist, from hate, to the climate crisis, anti-vax, etc. The climate crisis, in particular, has to keep people in fear, even though data and evidence says otherwise, and we’re in a cold cycle per the geological record.

Ironically, the so-called “anti-hate” groups have an incredibly strong financial incentive to stoke hate, so they actually AMPLIFY hate!
The worst thing that could happen to them is actually ending hate, as they would cease to exist.

Needing to take a break from editing of book 3, I did a preliminary work up of the cover. As usually Kindle is finicky about the picture. The wording will have to be run through until it feels just right. Incredible art by @JimboSalgado, and amazing colors by Anang Setyawan.

Took time from editing to go to Fantasticon Toledo. Got to meet Arvell Jones and Dexter Vines, plus get some art and comics signed. It was a great way to take a break, but now back to work. The world needs to meet Death Member.

Boy. After failing so many times to draw Death Member by hand, I turned to an online template in hopes of getting my design done. It took a number of tries before the final look you see here. Now off to Jimbo for the cover.
