@DubDotDUBBY Problem is in online 32 man leagues you can only get in 8-12 seasons so you will never sniff maxing your coach without fast/fastest setting - think thats the issue more than the option to buy level 100

@maxplayscfb I think you miss a point here though - abilities - if you upgrade a pass blockers run block to 99 and he is 76 overall he does not have run blocking abilities which play a huge part in on field performance

I’m super intrigued by the new “weekly practice” in CFB 27 dynasty. They have this in madden franchise and it was the most vital aspect of player development. Obviously in CFB it’s mostly been offseason XP bonuses/ coaching packages that decided player developments, but I could see this being huge. Especially with the new pre-order bonus package that increases weekly player XP. There will be injury risks so you will need to be careful, and especially careful the closer you get to playoffs. My strategy, at least in franchise was always going full weekly practice up until the last few weeks of season and then reeling it in to allow the team to regain its stamina. Hopefully this is the start of in-season XP mattering in dynasty mode.

@Poodle_YT was buggy in the beta - if someone got 0 NIL you couldnt bid more than 40 pts and they may require way more to retain them if they won awards or were elite dev freshman

I love how you have more control on this years CFB 27 “risk of transferring” screen than last years. In previous years this screen felt pretty hopeless, you’d be at the mercy of what it said. If it said “chance = none” then it was over. This year you can utilize your NIL to reduce their risk of transfer. This even extends to players being drafted… increase NIL and you can convince some players to stay another year. This will be huge for retaining key pieces when trying to make another push for a national championship. Could also possibly be a strategy for forcing mid rounders to stay and wait for them to progress to first rounders for extra first round draft XP

I played NCAA14 so often I broke multiple disks. The first CFB version was a clunky Madden-skin, but at least it was something. I bought the game again last year, played it twice. It had a glitch that wouldn’t allow you to snap if you looked at your play pre-snap. They lost me

Dynasty just got 10x more realistic, for better or worse

@maxplayscfb Its very easy to outrecruit the cpu in NIL they dont vary from their budgets but in a 32 man league i think it will be very fun and strategic

i don't mean this in a negative way, but im a little concerned that unless NIL COMPLETELY changes recruiting, CFB 27 Dynasty roster building will be a 'solved' problem by mid-July - is that crazy?

@Official_Mole @Dcroft Is it like route commit where you tell them to play agressive you getting torched over top? Ala commit inside vs an out breaking route? Or is it simply the depth they break to at the snap?

Definitely keep note of the zone rating that you are playing with. Zones definitely can react pretty quick, especially if the zone rating is high enough. This year they’re gonna position themselves much better with Smart Zones and through the tools that are given to you, therefore their break and their ability to attack a ball will be quicker than it was in previous years.

All of these defensive additions are great. It’s obvious EA knows they need to give users more control on defense. THOUGH… if these 2 core gameplay mechanics are underwhelming, defense will still be tough: • Zones react the same way they did in CFB26 & Madden 26 • Sheds feel mostly unchanged You can add new features, but the core gameplay mechanics of defense just need to be better. I didn’t get enough time to fully judge either, but in my limited experience, sheds did feel slightly better.
