Recent reports also suggest Xbox leadership is actively debating whether its long-term future is better served as a multiplatform publisher or by rebuilding the value of the Xbox ecosystem through first-party exclusives. Xbox needs system-selling titles that give players a reason to invest in the new console and Game Pass.
