These minimally invasive options are offering curative, life-prolonging, and palliative treatments to individuals who once had limited or no treatment pathways. It’s inspiring to see how innovation is expanding access and improving outcomes for some of our most vulnerable patients. Just Published! This one is for the team! I had the opportunity to give an oral presentation of our research @ObesityWeek 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. I’m incredibly grateful for the support and guidance from the @ImWvu @wvudeptofmed and the Medical Weight Management team, especially @lauradavisson and Dr. Lawrence Tabone, and a special thanks to my research mentor, @LuismiNieto14 . Obesity remains a significant health risk, impacting nearly every aspect of well-being, from cardiovascular health to metabolic function. It’s critical that we focus on addressing and managing obesity to improve health outcomes and quality of life.
