Thoughts from Detroit: -Overall a decent week. I was super disappointed to 3 putt the last hole to potentially MC. It wasn’t the easiest 2 putt but i screwed up there. But this yr is one of those yrs where the cut just works in my favor. A good weekend to make it count. Helped a good friend in Will Gordon too so that’s a bonus. -Cam Champ is a F1 car. When things are going good, he makes golf look so stupidly easy. Other than Rory, no one drives it like Cam. On the other hand, he hits bumps along the way and the yellow flag comes up a bit too easily. 3 wins is no joke tho. He’ll figure it out and be a staple out here for sure. -Patrick Cantlay gets a bad rap on being slow lol. He takes a bit extra over the ball which is when TV shows him but he takes no practice swings and quick to the ball so in the end he’s no where close to being the slowest guy out here. -I had a bad image about Detroit but I was able to see some more of the city and there were some much cooler areas than just the golf course area. Unfortunately didn’t get around to any Detroit style pizza. Maybe next yr. -John deere up next! Game feels really close to a great week. Hopefully I can piece it together
