I firmly believe that the UFC will slowly try to whittle away WMMA from their product. They can’t fully eliminate it since the genie is out of the bottle, but they’ll probably do stuff like eliminating women’s 135 after Harrison vs. Nunes. Not signing Larissa Pacheco points in that direction. I expect that they’ll only start pushing women’s MMA again when a conventionally attractive female fighter starts showing signs of star potential.
