Some people firmly believe that the best products will naturally attract attention. However, the reality is that early-stage, above-average products combined with top-notch marketing often achieve the greatest success. After achieving phased success, they gain the most resources to become the best.

Last week, marketers were in the spotlight, with devs flooding my comments and DMs saying, ‘marketing isn’t needed, good products market themselves.’ Here’s the thing: bad products also market themselves. They grow bigger than you, and the narrative takes on a life of its own. How do you reshape a narrative like: I eat my own 💩 and lock myself in a cage so my token price pump -- all using crypto onchain. Build better products, but more importantly, build responsibly. Ask yourselves, how can this be manipulated? How does that affect this industry? What perceptions am I perpetuating? Building products that are easy to use is great-- but understand that also means easy to abuse.
