There were a huge number of empty seats at the stadium tonight and it’s hardly surprising. We asked the club to open ticket exchange despite it not being sold out, so that people could buy the cheaper tickets and season ticket holders could sell if necessary. We told the Club not to make Newcastle a Category A game and will press these points again at the ticketing meeting this week. @seanhannam My school librarian wife has always refused to have his books in the library.

Should’ve been dropped years ago for his awful children’s books… I had the misfortune of reading one to our boys a while back - we got given it - and it was dreadful. Unimaginative, full of toilet humour and dull. The kids didn’t enjoy it either - we’ve never read it since.

Got in from the pub. Just turned on BBC Two’s 40 Hidden Music Treasures at the BBC - was pleasantly surprised, as I saw Bobbie Gentry performing. Assumed it was going to be a slogfest of boring ‘70s rock like Queen, Led Zep, Fleetwood Mac et al.

@Lilywhite_Rose @AlasdairGold For some reason this season seems to be different apparently in that you have to come off autopay and then you’re not allowed back on for the season. Does that sound right or have I misunderstood?

@ChristinaZandes There is absolutely no point whatsoever interviewing players or managers. They never say anything worth listening to. What a waste of air time. Dressing room cameras would definitely be interesting but I can’t believe we’d have sound.

Footballers are there to play on the pitch, not to entertain us with interviews. This will add more pressure to all footballers, let alone the ones who struggle to even speak to the media. Poor decision.

Off the top of my head I just counted 11 games when I was convinced he’d be gone …. And almost forgot the Tamworth game. 17 (SEVENTEEN) losses out of 32 PL games & still got the gig!!!

@JonnyH3232 @LastWordOnSpurs @TheirishY If Son had moved his ass a bit quicker to get back onside then Maddison could’ve passed to him, instead he had to try and hold it up which is when he lost it.

FT #Spurs v #EintrachtFrankfurt We were definitely 2nd best in that first half. Maddison losing the ball way too easily before they broke for Etikete to score the 1st with a great finish. They are very good in transition and we needed to block them off quicker in the middle. Son was almost invisible in the 1st half, and when he did show, he lost the ball. It was a great finish for Porro to level the game, but a terrible attempt by the Germans at the break to let us off. We were so much better in the 2nd half. Bergvall was superb. He was so unlucky with his long-range effort, hitting the bar. Bentancur worked so hard in the middle alongside him. Son had a great effort brilliantly saved but that was his lot. Ange subscribe to long I felt. They were not all that IMHO, we can do this. I’m looking forward to flying to Germany now 😎👊🏼 #COYS 💙🤍
