@IlhanMN We are at a apex moment in capitalism's arc. We must redistribute the accumulated wealth at the top. This is done through government programs. Healthcare, student debt, infant and childcare, and the other infrastructure investments, should be pressed ahead with simple majorities.

What can we do to help build a culture and society that is rooted in love and connection and community, rather than hate and exclusion? Both individually and communally.

One political party tries to reduce gun violence. The other does everything it possibly can to make American mass murderers the best equipped mass murderers in the world.

The shooter's race or ethnicity seems front and center when they aren’t white. Otherwise, it’s just a mentally ill young man having a bad day. Narratives drive our responses to awful crimes committed against innocent people, pay attention to these responses and who is targeted.

Gun violence kills more Americans every year than than all modern terrorist attacks combined. Yet every time another mass shooting happens, we stick our heads in the sand and hope it passes out of the news cycle. We need courage to take on white supremacy + gun violence.
