Two years ago in the regional semis, Troy played Withrow, which featured WR Chris Henry, Jr., the top WR recruit in the nation in the class of 2026. Friday in the regional semis, Troy will played Wayne, which features Jamier Brown, the top WR recruit in the nation, Class of 2027

Friday's playoff game will be the Troy football team's first-ever meeting with Hilliard Bradley. The school opened in 2009 and is one of three high schools in the Hilliard school district (along with Davidson and Darby).

The winner of the Troy vs. Hilliard Bradley game will play the winner of the Findlay vs. Wayne game. Should Troy win this Friday, the regional semifinal would be played at Troy Memorial Stadium on Nov. 14

Troy is 7-2 all-time in playoff games at Troy Memorial Stadium. Wins: Toledo Central Catholic (1985), Miamisburg (2000), Anderson (2016), Harrison (2018), Franklin Heights (2020), Stebbins (2023) and Lima Senior (2023). Losses: Olentangy (2019) and Anderson (2022)
