#49ers under Lynch & Shanahan are 9-4 in postseason (4 NFC Championship appearances, 2 Super Bowl appearances, unbeatean Wild-Card/Divisional records), plus they won 12 games last year w/basically 2nd and 3rd stringers so PLEASE tell us how and what you define as "success".

Perhaps, but BA brought that on himself for not reporting and participating. Whoever was advising him (or not) had him hustling backwards. His career is probably shot after being inactive and I'm not too sure his knee is sufficient. 🤷🏾♂️

Understood, but there's a reason that even Pregnon, the best out of the group you mentioned, fell 60 MORE picks after 27. 👀👀👀👀👀👀 Plus, Niners I think felt they needed more draft capital. Couple that with VETS they've already brought in to compete at guard, and I understand.

@THeINKGOD Those offensive linemen I mentioned were the ones available when we were on the clock between days 1 and 2. And Pregnon was one of the highest graded offensive linemen in the entire draft

Those weren't the "best blocking OLs" as you suggested, and they passed on these others for a reason. 🤷🏾♂️

@THeINKGOD We passed on Emmanuel Pregnon, Gennings Dunker, Caleb Tiernan. Pregnon, specifically, was one of the more elite all around blockers in the draft. Hoping we target Travis Burke or Brian Parker tomorrow.

Unless this trade is a 2nd or 3rd (or multiples) Niners ain't trading Mac this year and even if he leaves in 2027 free agency after starting or playing ANYWHERE close to last year, he is expected to generate a high compensatory pick (potentially a 3rd). #49ers
