@GlobalWresOrder Sanderson family is royalty in Utah Wrestling. My School (Pleasant Grove) took our 8th straight 4A State championship my Sr. year & it was like it didn’t matter because we all knew Wasatch (3A) had something special going on. Cael was something special to watch in real life.

We still can't get private planes to make it to Hawaii without fuel stops. So if Iran has figured that out from Iran, they must be working with the UFO's. Kidding aside, I imagine they'd do this from boats that'd need to get through the Coast Guard undetected. If they launched from Mexico, they'd get the Coast Guard & the Navy in San Diego. I'd have thought Texas & then the East Coast would be the ones to worry before California. That's why we had the Civil Air Patrol during WWII, when military resources were low for defense & they actually found German subs trying to get us... it's an amazing story actually. Technically, because it was civilians working for the military, it's also where the first female military pilots happened. But I don't know. I just know America, when our guard is up, would be a nightmare to attack & invade for any country with bad intentions.

Please let’s circle up all the State AG’s and talk about how this is going to kill completion in the industry and drive down wages, and product quality for consumers. There are lots of agents in Hollywood who can tell you how past mergers and consolidations have hurt their clients and business. There is lots of talent that can tell you the same.

@Evil__Smile For years, I thought Alan Tudyk was British, thanks to this flick. An American playing English is just something you rarely see. It’s one of my All-Time favorite films, with a 3rd Act that’ll pull tears out of anybody’s eyes. I LOVE this movie. It’s pure fun & heart.

@MarkRuffalo Competition seems to pave the way for innovation and greatness, more often than not. It becomes a lot harder for us no-names to get our shot, when the gatekeepers all live in the same building.

This is a much better conversation to be having. Instead of what one is better than the other what we should be addressing is how either of these are good for the business, for making good movies with diverse points of view and making sure our business continues to work for the many and not the few.   What else do you want to add to this Mr Stoller?

@CinemaTweets1 His character was absolutely polarizing. He was stealing every scene he was in, which is hard to do in a film where DiCaprio is also performing out of his mind.

BREAKING: Sean Penn is your BAFTA Winner for Best Supporting Actor. This has to put Penn closer to a third #Oscar, an award I firmly believe he deserves. Best Supporting Actor is the most competitive category this year but I think this means Penn could win. SAG will also be key.

Russell Crowe & Leonardo DiCaprio were a great pair in Ridley Scott’s Body of Lies. I don’t understand those who don’t enjoy this film- I think it’s a great espionage thriller & would be highly regarded if it were released in 2026. Crowe & Leo are excellent together. A good film.

This is completely unnecessary to post. Situations like this are already incredibly tragic, for victims and for the accused, and the court of public opinion does not get to play judge, jury, and executioner. This isn’t fodder for fan smack talk. These are young people’s lives at stake, and we are a nation where “innocent until proven guilty” is the law of the land. BYU is the flagship school of the LDS Church and its members. When it takes negative hits, it impacts not just a football team, but an entire Utah community. Our collective fanbases are made up of many members and former members of the LDS Church, myself included. It is an embedded part of who we are. Reveling in a horrific situation like this is the very definition of toxic fandom, and makes the Holy War even more sour. If there is anything to be learned, it’s that we must do a better job teaching boys and young men to respect women, that “no” means “no,” and that true consent requires clear, sober judgment. We also need to empower girls and young women to trust their instincts, set firm boundaries, and remove themselves from toxic masculinity situations where respect, safety, and dignity are not present, or sober. We all need to appeal to our better angels. Let the facts come out. Let the justice system do its job. Then form opinions grounded in truth, not speculation, rivalry, or emotion. This is not something to weaponize to tear down another school just because they’re our rivals. There are families on both sides of this coin who are going through an incredibly difficult time, especially for the victim, if it does prove to be true. No one needs your smack talk to add to the wave of negativity around this. Have some decorum. Have some dignity. Act better, and be better. Go Utes!

You can tell when a director & show-runner truly LOVE the characters, story, & actors. This slow-mo of Knighthood & Duncan riding, felt like the characters transformed into Knights before our eyes... and in a way that's harder to pull off than most would think. It takes a stylistic long game from the filmmakers for this moment to really feel SO MASSIVE. Especially when it's done with editing techniques & camera moves that are used so often they rarely have this kind of impact anymore. Hats off to Director Sarah Adina Smith and Show-Runner Ira Parker. This series is looking worthy of Film School study & appreciation for years to come.
