So many people have asked me why Ollie Pearce hasn’t played in the Football League. It’s a really difficult question to answer, to be fair, because I don’t know him personally or much about his youth career. But what I can say is this. Judging him purely from watching him in games, and from my experience of working with forwards at all levels of the game, he is 100% good enough. Without boring you with too much detail, I’d even go as far as saying he’s one of the best I’ve seen at this level, both on and off the ball and that’s without even mentioning his ridiculous goal record. 🤯 Sometimes everything just comes together a little later in a player’s career, and it’s great to see him in a City shirt. Hopefully that answers the question… or at least dodges it well enough 🤣 🔴🔵
