🔴Human safari in Kherson. A report from the ground on Russian war crimes and disinformation: A Russian FPV drone attacked a public bus, killing 1, injuring 10. A Russian Telegram channel blamed a Ukrainian explosive device. I found Russian drone parts and eyewitnesses.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський
Ukraine is fighting for the normal and safe life it deserves, for a just and reliable peace. We want this war to end. But Russia does not, and continues its aerial terror: over the past week, more than 1,050 attack drones, nearly 1,300 aerial bombs, and more than 20 missiles have been launched at Ukraine to destroy cities and kill people. Those who seek negotiations do not deliberately strike civilians with ballistic missiles. To force Russia to stop its attacks, we need greater collective strength from the world. Strengthening our air defense, supporting our army, and ensuring effective security guarantees that will make the return of Russian aggression impossible—this is what we must focus on. Justice must prevail. We believe in the power of unity, and we will certainly restore lasting peace.

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla There was a car, this one: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_Propul…. The Tesla Roadster was largely built on this technology, in a Lotus Elise chassis. Clearly Musk is responsible for making Tesla into what it is today, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t build it from absolute scratch.

Elon Musk in new Joe Rogan interview on who founded @Tesla: “Tesla did not exist in any meaningful form. There were no employees. JB Straubel and I joined three other people. There was no car, no nothing.” Joe: So there wasn’t even a prototype yet? Elon: No Joe: That’s a funny narrative that people like to say that you didn’t even create Tesla then. Elon: Yeah, that’s wrong.

@ZoeJardiniere Possible that these apparently contradictory approaches go well together. If Starmer meeting had not happened that way yesterday, the outlook would be far bleaker today.

If you watch Zelensky standing his ground in the Oval Office against soft-brained bullies Trump & Vance & still think Starmer's excruciating attempt at grovelling for respect from Trump yesterday was genius, I just don't know what to say to you.

I've been thinking for a long time whether I should publish this for you. Now it is hard for me to describe this post in words. I will just leave it here to share with you the pain of my country. The war that Russia started.

Lots of progressives are announcing their departure from this platform with the implication that the political Right has a monopoly on the spreading of disinformation. But progressives are at it too. Here’s a pretty brazen example from @ByDonkeys. They even got community noted.

You could say that about your portrayal of it, because you didn’t mention that 230 dams had been removed within the last 3 years, whereas because of heavy floods in about 1957 they’d decided to build dams to slow the flow. I’m not sure whether they did diversity reports before and after the dams were built.

Unsurprisingly, huge demonstration today in Valencia about the official response to the awful floods. Will our response be any better when similarly severe flooding happens in the UK? And happen it will.

If Trump wins we’ll have to hope the likes of Montgomerie, Johnson, and Truss are right and the chaos he brings perversely results in geopolitical stability. This is not particularly reassuring given these characters have spent the last decade being wrong about almost everything.
