At what point can we discuss the ecosystem of insiders writing books no regular person will read that are instead bulk purchased by patronage networks to reward alignment with pro corporate policies, which in turn inflates the status of the author and lends them enough legitimacy to go talk about the book on mainstream networks where they push these corporate policies to the masses under the guise that they are popular.
