as much as i like the idea of a stylized Metal Sonic for the movie, there would 100% be an uproar similar to (but definitely not on the same level as) the first movie Sonic design all of the other movie characters are colored similarly to the games anyway why should Metal change

Now with the concept of sonic 4 being more animated than the prior three films (going by Tim Miller’s word about the film during pre-production, potentially 7 animated cast members, being put in IMAX and the filming lifespan) the game might be changed for its teaser trailer.
