I just ordered some chick feed for the eggs due to hatch in a week! I’m getting excited to see how many hatch! I’m going to be putting a camera in the coop and setting it up for the chicks in a few days!
I’d be a horrible Soldier if I didn’t warn you. Israel is our greatest threat. They control us, including Trump. See it. Please, see it. You all know me well enough to know that I wouldn’t say something awful. Please, see it. You know it seems off. You know it does.
@thomas_garrard@Smitty68WF2 There’s some people TJ that aren’t ever gonna wake up.
They’re the ones who’s gonna follow the leader even if that leader leads them straight to hell! All we can do is pray for em
@TLA73111 We're good to go now. Just some more rain and crap coming the the rest of the night off and on. Probably get some heavy stuff around midnight again. Have a great rest of the evening.
My poor girl Delilah just started having some trouble navigating steps. She turns 13 in Oct. Luckily she appears to be in good spirits/no pain and still likes to play. IVDD is every dachshund owner's worst nightmare. She has a dental on 4 Jun so I'll get the vet to look too.
@TLA73111 Someone hit a huge hawk not even a mile from my place on Wed. I called it in to TWRA. Damn thing was so big I thought it was a turkey. People suck. We have a tornado warning in the area right now lol. Have a great night as well!
@BestBoatTech Well, good you got that done early. off-topic, but sitting here in backyard watching our mama hawk. She just had 3 babies that hatched in tree in front yard & watching her stomp the ground for critters to surface so she can feed her babies is a neat sight.
Have a good night☺️
@TLA73111 We were in a drought here as well. The only bad thing is my property is going to have grass as tall as a damn tree by the time the rain stops and it dries out enough to mow. Luckily I got around the house and the fenced in area mowed Wed right before the rain hit.
@BestBoatTech My weekend doesn’t sound much more exciting everybody’s gone for the weekend so it’s pretty much myself for a few days. i’ll really be missing my pup because he was good company when you’re left alone.
@TLA73111 They are unique personalities for sure. Guess that's why we get along lol. It's raining here and is supposed to keep raining through next Sat. Guess I'll sit in the house and be boring. Have a great weekend!
@BestBoatTech Absolutely. The little mini dachshund that I used to have she lived until she was 18 years old, not a tooth left in her head, cataracts, and no bowel control. But she was a food ho! never lost her appetite and then one night she just passed in her sleep. dachshunds are a trip.🥰
@TLA73111 Damn Tammy I hate to hear that. Best wishes for you and your family from mine. Hopefully it's just some arthritis and we can get her squared away. I feel like she has a few more years left in her.
@Nextchapter66 Isn’t that just ridiculous. when my husband and I had our car accident it was a 1.5 mile drive and it was $3500 each and we shared an ambulance
So I’m thinking about being an uber driver. I just got my bill for one of the ambulance rides…..$7000.00 for a 15 minute ride. I figure I’ll only have to do it for a year then I won’t need to work anymore. 🤷🏻♂️
@Joseph_Spurgeon Yep, you said it last sentence.
“It would benefit him”. I voted for Trump but when push comes to shove it’s all about Trumps inflated ego. If you don’t align with him 100% all of the time, even though there’s a lot of gray area “YOUR FIRED”
Here are some thoughts I have on Thomas Massie not winning reelection.
First, if I lived in Kentucky, I would have voted for Thomas Massie for a couple of reasons. One, his years of faithfulness since first being elected. Two, I have friends who know him personally and would vouch for his character. Three, I did not like the idea of AIPAC pouring millions of dollars into the election.
All of that said, I actually understand why he lost, and I would not attribute it merely to AIPAC spending millions of dollars against him. I think Massie largely owns his situation.
It is clear that Thomas Massie has changed over the years. In some ways, he actually appears healthier and more polished than he once did. But along with that change in presentation, there also appears to have been a shift in how he positioned himself politically. He increasingly became known as one of the Republicans willing to publicly oppose Trump and separate himself from Trump’s agenda, even at times when that stance earned him praise from liberals and anti-Trump commentators. Conservatives generally are not going to respond well to that.
To be fair, Massie appears to be a principled man. I do not think he was simply acting out of spite or opportunism. But many Republican voters believed that some of his votes, even if rooted in principle, ended up slowing down or obstructing parts of Trump’s broader agenda.
Many people voted for Donald Trump expecting a strong domestic agenda. Trump came in aggressively pursuing that agenda and trying to implement it. But he has also run into the limits of what can actually be accomplished without unified support in Congress. That is one reason he has increasingly shifted attention toward issues like Iran and foreign policy, because those are areas where the executive branch has greater freedom to act without as much obstruction from Congress.
So when someone like Massie votes no on important legislation, even if it does not fully align with what a libertarian or liberty-minded Republican would ideally want, many Trump voters view that as hindering the mandate they believed they voted for.
You see this frustration directed at other Republicans as well. Because of that, I understand why President Trump targeted Massie politically. I also understand why many older Republican voters ultimately voted against him. I do not think it can simply be reduced to people loving Jews or blindly following AIPAC money.
Quite frankly, despite all the boasting online about younger people supporting Massie while older voters backed his opponent, the younger generations still did not deliver the victory. Politics continues to be dominated by older generations because younger voters often either do not vote consistently or become hyper-idealistic in ways that limit their political effectiveness.
Of course, we will see what this brings in November. But if President Trump is able to maintain a Republican Congress, then removing Republicans viewed as obstacles to his agenda may ultimately prove politically beneficial for him.
@TiffMoodNukes@GeneralMCNews Yes, we’ve already seen what they are putting out. Pilots already posted the tic-tacs pics,
Like everything else they weren’t gonna show you the stuff that’s supposed to matter.
Any pics of evil aliens aren’t hidden anyway. They are sitting in the Oval Office & in Congress!
