Back Home by Cold.

Guess I get to call Ace and get the materials for doing a chain link fence around the front door and front property of the house. I've put up every kind of fence you can name but chain link is a first. All of that just so my old weiner dog Delilah can go and come back in.

@ClarencDarrow I'm assuming at this point that is the issue since she still has a healthy appetite and wants to play.

Shitty situation. My poor girl Delilah is having trouble navigating the steep back porch steps into the fenced in area/back yard. Looks like I'm going to have to build a new chain link fence in the front yard/front door/porch access. Diesel still loves the back yard.

@BestBoatTech A ramp her size would be easy to build.

@Rumblebunn99 I've had ramps forever, especially in the bedroom.

@wickanne @BeefStewtoo That's how I normally do it except I use Ziploc gallon bags. When I get home from the store I immediately separate all my meat into Ziploc bags then freeze it rather than keeping them in the foam store containers. Vacuum sealing helps too for keeping it fresh.

@BeefStewtoo @BestBoatTech Drop the steak in a plastic bag and put it in a container of water. Not hot water. Thawed in ~1 hour. No extra cost because you recycled that bread bag you were going to throw out😁 I always pull an extra veggie bag at the supermarket for stuff like that🥸

Bought one of these thawing/defrost trays. They actually work really well. This NY strip was in the freezer about an hour and a half ago and it's already thawed out.

@the_king_of_TN I got around the house and front yard mowed/weedeated about two hours before the rain hit Wed. The rest of my property looks awful lol. It's going to take a while to mow all that long grass once it dries out enough. We're supposed to get more rain all the way through next Sun.

I was hanging at a buddies shop this morning and looked up and said “I think we have a window to mow today”. The ground is soaked but the grass is dry. This makes me aloe more relaxed for the weekend 👊🏻🍊

@Sledgehamm22619 Been raining here since Wed and is supposed to keep raining through next Sun. Guess I'll be trapped in the house this weekend making dinner and listening to metal with the pups. Not a bad thing I guess lol.

@Doris_A_ Mine is a Kuisine brand. They have a few different types/sizes depending on what you are thawing out. I just got a smaller one to try out.

@Rumblebunn99 Matlock's big 110lb ass could easily snatch something off the counter. Luckily he knows better and doesn't do that stuff. The weiner dogs just sit in the floor and stare up at the counter lol.

@BeefStewtoo Basically they are made out of metals that conduct really well like aluminum and copper. It just works off the basic scientific principals of heat transference.

@teamreal321 @NYBadAss1141RAH Aerosol engine degreaser and WD40 are two very different things both in application and what chemicals they use. WD40 is simply a lubricant and water displacement formula. Degreaser has much harsher chemicals in it to take off carbon and heavier duty jobs.

@BestBoatTech @NYBadAss1141RAH So does WD 40 I mean on contact, pest control guy told me it has the same poison in it that they use..... People use WD 40 and rub it on hands and such....DON'T

@aliast6469 We were in a pretty good drought so I guess all this rain will be a good thing. I know I've got a ton of brush to burn after all the spring cleaning I did around the property.
