@MonsterCheech I use dry rubs and marinades both. Just depends on the dish I'm cooking. I prefer dry rubs for my steaks and BBQ but there are some marinades out there like the Brazilian Steakhouse marinade that I really love.

@BestBoatTech Right! The worst is chicken or shrimp! I am not a fan of marinades for the most part.

I know pickled sausage is an acquired taste. I still like checking in on mine while they marinate. They will be ready to go Friday.

@MariaVismale Strangely enough I'm not a big kimchi fan. Tried several different kinds when I was in Korea but could never get myself to like it. Bulgogi on the other hand I could eat almost every day lol. Hope yours turns out well!

@NononsenseMarv1 I'm predicting TN to go 8-5 with a bowl win. We have a lot of young/new guys and it looks like we will be starting a true Freshman at QB. That being said, once those guys have been in the system a year or two, it's going to be awesome. Glad you get to hang w/your old friends.

@MountainManTN @engineeredguy29 It's so bad I've got mushrooms growing in the fenced in yard where my dogs play. I even found some deathcaps the other day. Now I have to patrol the yard and pick them up so one of my idiot dogs doesn't try and eat one.

Getting some insane wind from the north that the closest weather station is catching at 4mph… This is at least 30mph. I need to get a weather station!

@engineeredguy29 @MountainManTN This is the worst July for weather here that I can remember. Insane amounts of rain and storms. My property looks like hell. Hopefully it dries out for a few days in a row and I can get out to mow/weedeat everything.

Dude when I lived in Arkansas, rual Arkansas, I remember one night the weather got bad,probably 2019,I remember getting the tornado warning to get cover etc,right as it was happening, It was night time,I lived in a mobile home,surrounded by trees on 3 sides,I looked out front,my pine trees were sideways,I got my dog and tried to leave, the hail was fucking me up,I went back inside, and I felt the home move,not much,but enough where I thought dude wtf, had some damage,trees,lost power for like 4 days,but after that night,when I storm was supposed to come through, id put my shoes on and would watch the weather until it passed all the way through, thays the only time I was scared in a storm.
