Todd Blanche is such a fraud. He’s now claiming the DOJ has more evidence against James Comey than just the “8647” seashell post: “This is about a body of evidence the grand jury collected over 11 months.” This case is going to get thrown out very quickly and he knows it. It’s all about trying to stay in the dear leader’s good graces so he can get the Attorney General job.

@revwiseman @RpsAgainstTrump You think supporting the US means closing your eyes to its demonstrated vulnerability and to the rank stupidity of its current leaders, who allowed this to happen. That’s strange. I would’ve thought anyone who supported the US would want to rectify those obvious failings.

@RpsAgainstTrump Good to see that you support the US when we try to protect our citizens from a nation that declares they want to kill us and are developing an atomic bomb to do it. You guys are real patriots!

“Unprecedented destruction” Majority of U.S. military sites in the Middle East damaged by Iran, CNN investigation reveals. Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth desperately tried to keep the extent of the damage from the public so people wouldn’t see how badly this was botched. Now the images are coming out and they’re disturbing.

@davidfrum @WSJ I can’t read it because of the paywall, but I can certainly confirm that the social media companies have no interest in deleting the accounts of deceased users. I have been trying for years to get two accounts deleted. I have submitted all the required documents. Nothing happens.

@Reil76 Carney is a loser. Period. Canadians want him gone , thank you Pierre for calling him out. Carney fails at everything he does, and Canadians don't want him , they never did

Watching Carney and Poilievre go at it in Parliament is starting to feel uncomfortable. Not in a dramatic way, just in the way it feels when someone is clearly out of their depth and keeps pressing anyway. Carney knows the file. When he answers, he answers the actual question. He doesn’t need to perform outrage or repeat a catchphrase three times and call it a rebuttal. He just explains things, clearly, because he understands them. Poilievre comes in loud and confident, same as always, and that works great on a campaign trail or a Facebook video. But in a room where the other guy actually knows what he’s talking about? The gap shows. Every time. The frustrating part isn’t even the politics. It’s watching someone confuse intensity for competence and expect nobody to notice the difference. People notice. This stopped being a left vs right thing a while ago. Now it just looks like one guy who did the reading and one guy who thinks he doesn’t have to.

NEW: Trump has begun talking about how he “is the most powerful person to ever live.” Our look at how Trump’s view of himself as one of history’s Great Men is shaping the second term of what has now become his YOLO Presidency. theatlantic.com/politics/2026/…

Really?! Which speech? The first one, the Congress one, or the State Dinner one? Listened to them all. The KING and Trump, and one Day Poilievre ARE the future. If you don't understand the natural ribbing between BOTH of them last night, then you are for sure WAY TOO boorish. Maybe question why your parents did a shit job raising you to be well-bred. 😘 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦👑

@BorderlinePOV @austen_enjoyer @acoyne Many things are possible. Fewer things are likely. A Poilievre minority govt would have fallen faster than you can say “Joe Clark”. PP’s only hope is to win a solid majority.

@stengel Would you be happy if America were part of a political union that included other countries who could outvote you and impose on America laws that American people and representatives opposed? If the answer is "Yes" then by all means criticise us for Brexit.

I've got nothing against King Charles personally—in fact, he seems like a decent and thoughtful man—but why the heck are we inviting the 77-year-old monarch of a medium-sized nation that committed something close to national suicide with Brexit to address a joint session of Congress? "Of more worth is one honest man to society," wrote Thomas Paine, "than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived." We are the nation that threw off a crowned ruffian and ended hereditary privilege to create a republic where the people rule. Happy 250th Birthday America.

@stengel There is nothing fundamentally wrong with Brexit. As an American you have no right to give your opinion on it. It has been implemented very badly on purpose. He also has no influence on any political decisions whatsoever. This isn’t 1750 where kings and queens decide everything.

@stengel And to do so, your forefathers relied on 150 years of English and Scottish political theory. The UK is your mother country, whether you like it or not.

@GunGnome @acoyne Don't know if he looted the bank, but I do know the living standard of UK citizens dropped below that of Mississippi, the poorest state in the US during and after his tenure. But he's an Oxford trained economist genius or something.
