We enacted a new Constitution in 2013 to ensure that presidential terms are expressly limited so that no president can stay in power indefinitely. Fast forward to 2026, @ZANUPF_Official wants to take us back to a place where we have an imperial presidency who has vast power, is not voted for by the people and who has extensive control over the judiciary and other key levers of the State. This is not acceptable. #NoTo2030 We need new leaders.🇿🇼

I remember when he suspended us from from UZ, and the maverick @obeyshava1 got us back through a High Court victory - Prof Nyagura called us to his office, and said, “Congratulations on your High Court victory, now get out of my university and go and learn at the High Court!” We were manhandled by the infamous Green Bombers (Border Gezi trained university security guards[they wanted to be called officers but we called them guards to spite them]) We hatched a plan, on Saturday we went to Bond Street shops in Mt Pleasant - fuelled up ‘Dutch Courage’ and proceeded to his church service in Waller Avenue and waited for our moment. Towards the end of the service, after noticing new faces in church, the pastor called on new congregants or visitors to introduce themselves as part of the reception process. We humbly introduced ourselves as UZ students who were illegally suspended by Prof Nyagura who won their case in the high court but were still rusticated. We won the battle, but we lost the overall war.
