When I worked in public schools they constantly talked about “closing the achievement gap.” They forgot to mention that Black homeschool students score 23-42% above Black public school students across all standardized tests. In fact, the gap between Black public school students and Black home school students is the greatest achievement gap in America education. I wonder why they never talk about it.

But Iran shot down an F-15E, hit an A-10, struck two rescue helicopters, and forced the destruction of two MC-130s and two Little Birds in a single weekend. That's not supremacy. That's contested airspace where operations succeed but come with real cost. Trump was careful with his language in the rescue announcement. He said "air dominance and superiority," not supremacy. Supremacy is what the U.S. had over Venezuela. Aircraft moved freely because there was nothing left to contest them. Over Iran, every sortie still carries risk. The rescue proved that American forces can operate deep inside Iran and win. It also proved that winning comes with a price tag of downed jets, damaged helicopters, and $200 million in aircraft destroyed on the ground. Air superiority means you can fly.
