At today’s @TPSBoard meeting, Chief @TPSMyronDemkiw presented the actions already implemented following Project South, and he announced additional steps taken by the Service. These include: · Enhancing internal accountability by expanding the Professional Standards Unit; · The Chief’s Anti-Corruption Project focused on supervision, vetting, access to information systems, evidence management, and fitness for duty; · The “One TPS” Project to reinforce a consistent professional culture across all ranks and roles. Jahkai Jack’s murder was an unprovoked act of violence that devastated his family, his friends, and this community.   Today we’re announcing two arrests and the issue of a Canada-Wide Warrant for Second Degree for a third suspect, Abdul Yeberebaba, 20, of Toronto.   Read more: tps.to/65296
