@Dragon_Samurai0 It’s been 14 years since they acquired Star Wars. A $4.05 billion dollar deal in 2012.

#TheMandalorianAndGrogu REVIEW: By nudging “The Mandalorian” onto the big screen, Disney is offering nothing more (or less) than a couple of likable, diverting, semi-forgettable episodes jammed together, albeit with the lavishly scaled action of a big-budget movie adventure. Yet there’s no escaping that “The Mandalorian and Grogu” comes at us with a tidy small-screen consciousness. The upshot is that maybe that’s what #StarWars now is. I know why they made it! Because Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy wouldn't shut up 3 to 4 months after they announced that she was doing the Rey movie and Disney Lucasfilm needed a distraction! So they announced this Mando movie and they got stuck with it, because the 3 movies the announced at that 2023 SWC went nowhere! LOL #DisneyStarWars is a joke! #TheMandalorianandGrogu

Jon Favreau Admits He’s ‘Not Sure’ Why Lucasfilm Decided to Make a ‘Mandalorian’ Movie “That quote alone is raising eyebrows among fans already questioning whether the upcoming film needed to exist in the first place.”

@Aaron_Sparrow Disney use to shelve their classic animated movies for 7 years before they were released again. Star Wars is DOA. Shelve it for 15 years.

@DaddyWarpig Seems like Harrison wanted to kill off his legacy characters a little at a time.

@ianmSC Include JJ who also played a role not just in Star Wars, but in Star Trek as well. He and his acolytes destroyed the tv and movie verse of Trek. KK is probably the most culpable. Iger was allowed to buy multiple IP’s and no protest from the industry.

It has to be the most impressive accomplishment in Hollywood history that Disney and Kathleen Kennedy managed to obliterate Star Wars, arguably the most successful film franchise in the industry, all in just a few short years
The Independent@Independent

With just five minutes of Pedro Pascal and a completely dispirited voice performance from Jeremy Allen White as Jabba the Hutt’s son, this is the dullest and most inconsequential ‘Star Wars’ ever made Read the full review: independent.co.uk/arts-entertain…

I know a lot of people are talking about nostalgia baiting and yes, that is a thing, but I want to mention that people are so tired of the hr sterilized look that nearly all brands have been dragged through. Bringing atmosphere back-

🚨 MAN BUYS 80 PIZZA HUTS TO BRING BACK THE ICONIC VERSION AMERICA MISSED — AND PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR MINDS Tim Sparks, president of Daland Corporation, owns more than 80 Pizza Hut franchises across the country, and he’s now turning many of them back into the old-school Pizza Huts millions of Americans grew up with. While most restaurant chains keep replacing everything with self-checkout screens, gray walls, and sterile modern redesigns… Sparks is bringing back the version people actually remember: • red plastic cups • Pac-Man machines • packed salad bars • giant family booths • Tiffany-style lamps hanging over the tables And people are getting unexpectedly emotional over it. Some of these restored “classic” Pizza Huts are now becoming top-performing locations because customers say it doesn’t just feel like pizza anymore… It feels like stepping back into a completely different era of life. Sparks says the mission is bigger than nostalgia. He wants to rebuild places where families actually sit together again, put their phones down, and talk the way they used to. Now the internet is flooding the comments: • “This feels more human than modern restaurants” • “We didn’t realize how good we had it” • “This is what childhood felt like” • “Why does this make me emotional?” Some customers are reportedly driving HOURS just to eat inside one because they say modern restaurants lost the feeling that made people love them in the first place. Now people are asking: Did corporations deliberately turn restaurants into cold, forgettable spaces... because real human connection was never the priority anymore? 📹: CBS19
