Mohawk and George Brown both announcing significant job cuts today. It’s sad to see.
I’m still hoping @fordnation will reconsider these OSAP cuts. “Steep drop in enrolment” isn’t an anomaly. It’s going to get worse.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Matt the last several years. He is passionate about what he does and he bleeds Kings. I see a lot of people in here attacking Matt, who don’t know him personally. His job is to cover the Kings - which in some cases, means being critical of the team. Practically every media member (including myself) has been critical of the Kings at some point throughout the season. We wouldn’t be doing our jobs if we didn’t critique the team in our reports. The thing I respect about Matt is that he always provides context and depth when he’s being critical. He doesn’t just say it at face value. He goes beyond the stat sheet and provides context to the viewers. I know Matt as a hard working journalist, not someone just looking for views and clicks. He cares about the work he does and has proven himself to be a journalist with integrity.
