TRECA main results paper now in BMC Medicine: rdcu.be/df4lR . Using multimedia instead of printed sheets increased trial recruitment in children & teens. Pooled data, 3 SWATs: OR 1.54 (1.05, 2.28) p=0.03. Overall, mutlimedia recruitment rate 69%, printed sheet rate 64%.

SWAT paper #2 from TRECA published, set within the FORCE trial. Multimedia information had non-significant effects on trial recruitment compared to printed sheets, but found easier to understand and evaluated more positively: bmjopen.bmj.com/content/12/7/e…

New TRECA SWAT paper, set in Thermic-3 children's cardiac surgery trial: dx.doi.org/10.12688/f1000… Digital, multimedia information increased recruitment (by 14%) compared to printed info, but v small SWAT, not statistically significant.
